Ant Hampel founded and directed his first Melbourne event management company in 1990—THINK Creative Events. Selling to Commquest in 2007 gave him the opportunity to begin his next big event and entertainment venture—starting the high-profile company ALIVE Events. These ventures were large successes for Antony Hampel where he created and staged some of Australia’s highest profile public, private, and business events for celebrities and global corporations.

Ant has become known for leading and transforming the industry in live events and brand activations, award-winning productions, and marketing. He continues to evolve, innovate, and reach further to explore new ideas, better experiences, and ways of improving communities by giving time, knowledge, and opportunities.

Ant is passionate about improving the lives of others whether through sharing his own knowledge and experiences with the next generation of event producers, contributing to charitable organisations, or helping corporations strengthen their own social and environmental responsibility.

Antony Hampel has lectured on event operations and event marketing at Event Training Australia, Victoria University, Boston University, Sydney University, and R.M.I. T. Ant also frequents and speaks at industry conferences and expo’s to inspire those in his industry, passing along his unique set of experiences and breadth of knowledge.

Antony Hampel’s wish is to create new ways of raising awareness and funding for social causes. He supports and raises awareness and funding for organisations and events such as Red Cross, Father Bob Foundation, Mirabel Foundation, Are You OK Day, Fifteen, and Open Family.

In 2013, Ant Hampel became an advisor to the board of directors for the Banksia Foundation which promotes environmental and sustainability excellence. A Banksia Award is regarded as the most prestigious environmental award in Australia. Antony is proud to be a part of this important organisation.
